QUESTION: Hi, I've had my car for quite sometime now and I love it ! But recently about it has (about 5 times) just died, no power, when driving, but as soon as you try to restart it starts right back up. What could it be? Sure could use your help. Thank you kindly.  Sue

ANSWER: IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated while driving the vehicle ?.

QUESTION: No, it never has come on ever. I will look to see if it is on when it loses power the next time. What do you think it could be? I sure do appreciate this service.  Sue

Answer
It could be an ignition problem or a fuel problem but since it starts right back up will mke it extremly difficult to diagnose.

Does it do it when you are making a turn or starting off from a stop sign and or braking from a stop sign ?.

See if you can detect what you are doing when it occurs.
