Cadillac Repair: 1993 Trunk wont close, inline fuse, radio antenna

Question
So I have an automatic trunk- I press it down and something catches it and seals it. This Christmas I noticed that when I push it down it catches it but doesn't seal it. Also, I noticed (I can't remember if they occurred around the same time or not) that my radio antenna no longer goes down. I assume both problems are related to each other but I can't be for sure. What do you suggest? Do trucks go "bad" often or could it be a simpler fix??

Answer
You will need to replace the TRUNK PULL-DOWN motor, But first check the inline fuse that is behind the carpet along the very back edge of the trunk just in front of your knees to see if the fuse is blown.

You will need to test the antenna relay to determine if the antenna is faulty or the relay is faulty.
