We have a 1999 Cadillac seville. When the ignition is turned there is a click but then nothing. Also,it cannot be jumped. Any idea where to look for the problem. This has happened 2 other times recently but always could be jumped-but not easily jumped. sue

Thankyou- This car also has another big problem . It has a blown head gasket-running on 7 cylinders. Our options are obviously quite expensive-we are considering replacing the engine est-$4200. This car has 152000 miles and has really been a good car.If we continue driving the car and it has been running fairly good(when it will sart)-how long do you think it will run until the engine totally dies and do you think it is worth this major repair considering any other major repairs that might come up because of the high mileage? The body is in excellent condition ,brakes are brand new,all interior components are in working order. Thankyou-Sue
Provide more detail. The first time it would not start we bought a new battery and then sporadically it occurred 2 additional times in about 3 months. On those occasions it could be jumped(not easily-took several tries) but this time it can't be jumped. It makes 1 click and that is it. Do you think it could be a fuse?autohelp
