Chevrolet Repair: fuel pump removel, s10 blazer, drivers seat

Hi I want to know if there is an easer way to remove a fuel pump on a 2000 s10 blazer other than removing the tank. Thanks

Hey,

 If you want you could cut a hole behind the drivers seat to get it out but unfortunately the only way to do it properly is to drop the tank. If you have a hoist they can be done by lowering the tank a bit but I usually take the whole thing out to avoid problems with the lock ring on the top of the tank leaking.
