Chevrolet Repair: Heat doesnt get hot, chevy astro, rear heat

1997 Chevy Astro Vortec V6 - The heat in the front doesn't get hot and the rear heat doesn't get warm. What might I do to check something to get it to work right? Thank you.

Hey,

 Sounds like the thermostat. If the heat gauge doesn't get to the half way mark or just before it might not be regulating at 195f.  If the gauge doesn't come off the bottom or just a little bit then make sure its full of coolant and replace the stat.
