Chevrolet Repair: 2001 chevy computer, chevy astro, fuel regulator

I have a 2001 Chevy Astro cargo van 80k miles. Starts then stalls within 20 seconds.replaced the plugs,dist cap &button, fuel regulator was also replaced.Good spark at the plugs,170lbs compression.Can I take a used computer (same id #)and make it work?

Hi Nelson.... before you do check fuel pressure. check to see if pressure stays or drops off right away...if it drops off right away check lines for a leak or fuel filter for blockadge. if not fuel problem check ign module and coil. does truck restart right away after quiting. sounds more like an ign module problem....hope this helps
