Chevrolet Repair: wont start, chevy blazer, defective coil

Question
I have a 1994 chevy blazer with a 4.3 liter vortec.  I have put a new fuel pump on it, new fuel filter.  It is getting plenty of fire.  All it will do is crank over and over, it won't even act like it is going to hit or start.  I am confused on what to try next.  If you have any idea or have had issues like this before, please send information

Answer
You need to determine what the cause of the no-start is. No spark, low fuel pressure, no injector pulse circuit.

Most of the no-starts on that vehicle has been defective fuel pumps or fuel pump pulsators. I believe the pulsator has been updated.

On the spark side, you can have a defective coil, ignition module.

Check for any stored PCM codes.

The central port injector units have been known to fail on this model. It could be dumping too much fuel into the cylinders causing a flood. Disconnect the injector connector and hold gas pedal to the floor...see if it starts or comes close to starting.
