Chevrolet Repair: 1995 Corvette, brainstorm ideas, vapor lock

Question
Hello, I have a 95 Vette. It will completely shut down
at various times. Maybe a stop light or at highway speed.
It will not restart immediately however if I wait 10 min or so it will restart. It seems like fuel problems. It has been piped for nitros but I have never used it. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Answer
HI Ron,

Here is a few brainstorm ideas.  May be none of them, but without seeing the car it is tough to diagnose something like this.

1. fuel filter is bad

2. ignition module is getting hot

3. the computer thinks the car is getting hot, or knocking and shuts the car down to save the motor????

4.  plugging vapor canister valve

5.  vapor lock (try opening gas cap to relieve vapor lock)

I am assuming you tried pulling codes and found none.  I am assuming you have fuel related problem since you stated you feel it is that system.  You dont state any prior dirvability issues and make me believe it just turns off at will.  I based my few ideas on this thinking.  I hope this helps.
