Chevrolet Repair: 97 cavalier flasher, fuse box, signal lights

the brake. and turn signal lights do not work. i bought a new flasher but cannot find the old one... where did they hide it....thanks..hs

Let me first ask, do none of the brake/blinker lights work?  If not, this sounds more like a ground wire issue.  

Do your blinkers both blink when you put on the hazards?  If so, your blinker switch or BOOS (brake light on/off switch) is bad.  

If you still want to change this flasher, it is almost always in the fuse box located inside the car, under the dash.  Could also be located on the side of the dash, when you open the car door.
