Chevrolet Repair: 2000 impala blower motor resistor, blower motor resistor, resistor pack

Question
I am trying to locate the blower motor resistor any idea where it is located I know it is suposed to be under the right side of the dash but I can not locate it.

Hi Gary,
May be under the hood, but whichever place it is, it will be inserted through the blower housing, where the airflow from the blower will cool it.
A trip to the public library, refference section, may be worth while. That section has every repair manual you could ask for.
On some of the small pickups and Blazers, it is required to follow a little template, and actually cut a small section out of the housing to remove the resistor pack. Impalas may be that way also.
