Chevrolet Repair: oil in the coolant, intake manifold gasket, buick century

Question
I have some oil leaking into my coolant. You can see it in the reservoir.  I have a 2001 buick century and have been told the buicks are similar to chevrolets. I had the radiator flushed at 7000 miles and replaced the dex cool with the green coolant. Any idea what the problem would be for the oil to leak in to the coolant?  It happens gradually so it isn't a big problem yet. We had the radiator flushed again two weeks ago and are not yet seeing the oil in the coolant.  Any idea what this could be?  Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hi Carolyn, The only thing that leaks into the engine oil system is the intake manifold gasket. But this leaks coolant into the engine oil and not oil into the radiator. I have seen a lot of cars with a build up of what looks like oil in the coolant and have just flushed out the system to repair this. If you have a 3.4L engine just keep a watch for coolant going into the engine oil as this can damage your engine.

Hope this helps
