Chrysler Repair: Master cylinder brake line assignments, crank pulley, cracked rubber

Question
QUESTION: should i try and change it cause chrysler says its not a problem it wobbles almost to the point where it touches the block motor

ANSWER: Hi David,
I don't know of the spec for wobble but I would watch to see if there is unusual wear on the belt and also there is the possibility of the belt(s) coming off the pulley. I suspect that the vibration dampening aspect of the pulley is compromised by the wobble. Tell me which engine you have and we can see if it is an easy replacement.

QUESTION: it a 1993 es 3.5 24 valve but know how but is it possible for a pulley to warp like that or is my crankshaft worn

ANSWER: Hi David,
I suspect you would find that the pulley has 2 parts that are connected by some sort of flexible material so that imbalances are smoothed out when it rotates. The material may be fatigueing. It appears to need a puller to remove it and also a washer of specific dimensions to press it back on the crankshaft (I can give you the tool numbers by Miller Tool if you want to check that out). There is nothing wrong with the crankshaft in all likelihood.

QUESTION: thanks alot for the quick reply you were right was some sort of cracked rubber in the crank pulley also i wondered if you knew wher i could get a diagram indicating wich brake line is wich on my mastercylinder again tis a 93 intrepid es 3.5 thnx again

Answer
Hi David,
I checked the manual and see no label on which is which. The system is split diagonally so that there is not a front or a back exclusively. Maybe by tracing the lines you can determine which goes to the left front and then you would know that one also handles the right rear, and vice versa for the other outlet.
