Chrysler Repair: 3.0L V-6 harmonic balencer/crank pulley bolt, pulley bolt, crank pulley

Question
i am pulling the bolt off on the harmonic balencer i need to know if it is left hand or right hand threads the motor is a chrysler 3.0 v6 thank you for your time

Answer
Hi Jake,
It is a normal right hand thread. If you need to 'stop' the movement of the crank, put a bar/screwdriver through a slot and wedge it on the edge of the block. Use either a 22mm socket or 1/2" square drive to remove it. It is torqued to 112 foot-pounds. You would be assisted by removing the right front wheel and the wheel well inner splash shield to get good access to the front of the engine.
