Chrysler Repair: car alarms falsely, 1999 chrysler 300m, car alarms

Question
I HAVE A 1999 CHRYSLER 300M THE CAR ALARM GOES OFF FOR NO REASON. WHAT CAN I DO?

Answer
Hi Dean
The most common reason for a false alarm would be that one of the doors is not being secured tightly enough by its latch, and thus giving a false message that it has been opened. So begin by checking if when you push outward from within the car on each door it sets off the alarm. If it does, just move the striker on the door frame in-board a bit.
