Chrysler Repair: voyager le: battery drains overnight, power door locks, volt ohm meter

hikevin i have a 1999 t reg voyager the led light is lit constant and when i remove the key from the ignition the odometer stays on to show the mileage and drains the battery overnight but if i remove the fuse for the gauges the led light stays on but the mileage goes out and doesnt drain the battery it a 2 litre petrol but the red led is lit all the time with or without the fuse for the gauges please help any answers would be great thanks.

Hi Paul,
I found your question in the 'pool' to which Kevin had referred it.
The power for the odometer is by the fuse that you removed but that is not the only device that draws on that fuse. So the odometer is not the problem in all likelihood.
Can you tell me if the fuse you remove is #18 or #28 and then I can tell you all the items that are powered by that fuse?
Do you have a volt-ohm meter? That would be helpful to sort out which sub-circuit is staying "on" when it shouldn't?
Is the red light you speak of the light for the anti-theft system? If so that is normal when you close the van up using the power door locks.
I assume this is an export van? Can you tell me what country it was first sold in?
