Chrysler Repair: LHS 1997: radiator fan motors failed?, radiator fan, speed fan

Question
I just replaced bad radiator. Cannot get either high speed or low speed fan to come on. I have taken fans out to test per manual (apply 12v to fan to test) neither one starts up. Did I miss something. The odds seem to be pretty high that both should not have failed.

Answer
Hi Frank,
Where exactly did you apply the voltage? There is a radiofrequency interference prevention module mounted between the fans, and the high speed fan has 3 wires (yellow/brown/black) and low speed fan has two wires (blue/black) connecting to that module. The black wire is - and the other colors are for +12V. Did you jump to those plugs? or to the rfi incoming plug (tan/yellow/black) It could be either that you didn't have a ground (return to battery) wire OR that RFI module has gone bad.
