QuestionQUESTION: I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel with 89xxx miles and the "Lamp Out" signal on dash will appear and chime every week or so for a minute or and hour only while driving and all lamps and bulbs are fine? Need to know location of relay/sensor if any or any other suggestions. I have not began any diagnosing yet. Thanks, Don.
ANSWER: u have a bad bulb, wrong bulb installed trailer tow hooked up thats aftermarket.

Answerthe whole lamp out deal is checked by restance so when there is higher then normal restance like when a bulb is out u get that ding. Unplug the trailer tow connector and see if it goes away. After that u could have something to do with the connection that u installed for the trailer tow,
