Chrysler Repair: Right engine mount 2003 Dodge Noen 2.0L, neon sxt, rail fasteners

How do you R&R the right motor mount on a 2003 Neon SXT with a 2.0 liter? There's no room between the frame, mount and engine to unbolt it and pull it out. Do I have to pull the engine out to replace it?

Hi Mitch,
Here are the steps from a '97 manual which should apply.
1. remove the purge duty solenoid from engine mount bracket
2.Remove the two vertical mount insulator fasteners from frame rail.
3.Remove the load on the engine mounts by carefully supporting the engine and transmission assembly with a floor jack.
5. Remove the thru-bolt access hole cover. Remove the thru-bolt from the insulator assembly. Remove the insulator.
Reverse removal procedure for installation. Tighten engine mount to rail fasteners to 40 ft-lbs, then tighten engine mount bracket thru-bolt to 80 foot-lbs.
I hope this works for you. I don't know about the space issues unless this situation was modified after '97.
