Where the EGR Valve located, and what is high current output

Hi David,
Without knowing which engine is in your van I can't be specific but if you examine the outside surface of each exhaust manifold (front and back bank of cylinders assuming that you have a V-6) on one of those manifolds you will find a small diameter pipe that runs from the manifold toward the rear of the engine to the vicinity of the throttle body where the income air enters the intake manifold. Along the pipe near the intake manifold/throttle body is the EGR valve which controls whether the pipe is open or closed. I assume the "high current output" is a fault code referring to the egr, correct? If so can you tell me the 4-digit number associated with that code, and then I can better tell you what it means. So do that and also tell me which size engine you have.
