Dodge Repair: Camshaft Position Sensor, dodge ram 1500, advance auto parts

Question
QUESTION: I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 5.9L gasoline. I just tuned up the truck using Platinum 4 plugs, Accel high intensity cap and rotor (brass contacts) and Taylor wires. The truck ran beautiful with lots of power and very smooth.
The other day on the way home the check engine light came on and I noticed a slight roughness in the engine but nothing too radical. When I got home I through my OBD2 on it and this is the code: PO340 Cam Position Sensor A Bank 1CKT Malfunction. I am assuming the cam position sensor is having issues. My manual states its in the distributor.
First of all, am I diagnosing the problem correctly? Secondly, where can I get the replacement part as I am having trouble locating it. Is it Dodge specific or is it also available after market?
I would appreciate any assistance you might be willing to offer as I have been pulling my hair out with this.
Service manual shows it, identifies it, has replacement instructions, but part doesn't show up in any parts catalog--AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, Napa????

ANSWER: yes get one from the dealer

QUESTION: Problem being, the idiot mechanics that work for dodge don't have a clue of what they're talking about. The part isn't a cam position sensor although it partially detects that information. The part to be exact is a pick up coil.
No, I don't go to Dodge for $100 when I can buy AC Delco OEM for $36.19 aftermarket. I see you call yourself an expert but sounds to me more like saleman. So many "parts replacers" and so few "mechanics"!

Answer
It is called a cam sensor. It is o. Top of the distributor which is turned by the cam shaft.  What aftermarket places call something will varry from place to place. And even happens in the dealer world.  What a tech calls something might be labeled differently in the parts catalog.

As for the cheap part from ac delco. Be aware it my not work. The setup inside the sensor might not work right with the computer. I have seen it b4

And your cheap shot about me selling. What was that for. U asked me a question. I answered it   I can't help what parts places call something then what a dealer would
This is my business. And if u can't understand what a signature is.  Sorry to be you then
