Eagle Repair: 90 Eagle Talon Freeze Plugs, core radiator, slide hammer

Question
My question is i got this 90 Eagle Talon and after all repairs were done (so i thought) i went to fill the radiator and water started to come out of the engine back by the fire-wall. After over-looking the entire engine I have can only think of one place that could cause this "a freeze plug". Now for the stupid part were are the freeze plugs located my manuals don't have diagrams on this subject??? I hope you can forgive the stupidity and help with my question.

Answer
There is no stupidity involved in your question.

Freeze plugs are normally found on the crankcase block (the bottom part) of the engine. They should be between an inch to two inches and a half in diameter and should be pulled out with a slide hammer.

But I need to understand something, you mentionned that the coolant is comming out "by the firewall" and since different words have different meanings to different people here goes:

Could you have meant to say that the coolant is comming out of the firewall, if so, then your heater core radiator needs replacing and not a freeze plug. Just to make sure.

Hope this helps!
