Ford Repair: Fuel Problem, throttle position sensor, fuel pumps

Question
Hi, I have a 1988 Ford Ranger, which has a 2.9 liter engine with a 5 speed manual transmission, it is a 4x4 with an extended cab.
The problem is, is that my truck has both fuel pumps working, I have the correct amount of fuel pressure with the key forward and not running which is 40 psi. I have power to the fuel injectors but my truck still isn't starting up. But if you spay starting fluid in to the dome it starts right up in like 1 crank. I have changed the computer, I have changed the fuel injectors, and the TPS sensor ( Throttle Position Sensor ) I have also done many other parts but still with no success. If you might have any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for your time and I hope to hear back from you soon.

Answer
you have power to fuel injectors but is computor grounding them-they have power all the time but ecm sends ground pulse to fire them-if you have pressure/spark and it will run on starting fluid then injectors are not firing or are clogged-first since it is an 88 ranger unplug square sensor around egr valve it it has one probably mounted on upper aluminum plenum near front. since it runs on fluid that means pickup coil is working-could be wiring problem/computer/above mentioned sensor even module although rare to cut off injectors-another very common thing  is small ground wire coming off of battery cable that will kill injectors.
