Ford Repair: transmission swap, ford e150 van, bell housing

Hi Eric, I have a 1990 ford E150 van with a 4.9 L6 and a C6 trans I want to put an Aod pre electronics in place of the C6 I have an Aod and they look real close, what do you think? Thanks Ken

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
did the C6 you are wanting to put in come out of a truck or van with a 4.9L? You might want to take a closer look in to the torque convertor.......make sure you have the correct one in there.
If the bolt pattern on the bell housing matches up......give it a shot.
