Ford Repair: air filter, air inlet hose, auto mechanics

i would like to change the air filter in my 94 explorer... i have really no expierence in auto-mechanics... i know this is a pretty simple job and i would like to try and take it on,, so any information on how to do this task would be very appreciated... thanks

  It's really pretty simple.  Just remove the air inlet hose from the air box (where the filter is) and then slip the old filter out and the new one in before reattching the inlet hose.  This may require simple hand tools like a screw driver to get the box open enough to get the filters in and out, but really it only takes 20 or 30 minutes if you've never done it before.  Hope this helps.
