I have a 1995 F150 and the shifting arm seems loose. It is hard to get it to get in the correct place so it will go into gear, forward or reverse. How do I correct this.

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
Is it that the detent isn't lining up with the shift indicator? or is it loose at the transmission arm?

Hello and thanks for the reply...I'll try to help.
It seems that the shift tube in your column is broken. You'll need to tear the column apart and take a look inside. Be careful not to fool with the wiring in there......the air bag system can and will go off. Take your time and see if there is a broken aluminum tube in there.
Hope this helps,
Erik
