Ford Repair: 95 ford taurus, spark plug wires, tfi module

Question
Please help me if you can im about out of hair to tear out of my head.  My 95 Taurus 3.8L died as i was driving down the road.  It was driving fine without any engine problems or driving problems when it died.  When i got the car home i discovered that the engine didn't have any spark.  Now I had the ingition module tested at 3 different places just to make sure that it was still good, replaced the coil, cap and rotor, and even installed a new magnetic pickup in the distributor, and i still don't have any spark.  I tested all the power at the ignition module connector and all of the wires were in spec for voltage (chiltons).  I also changed the spark plug wires just in case there was some funny reason that they could have went bad.  Also when i hooked up my code scanner, i didn't get any trouble codes.  Now you can probably see why i am verry frustrated. If you can help i would be greatful.

Thanks

Brian

Answer
Brian-

Hmmm...that is a bit odd.  My only thoughts would be a problem with the TFI module.  I believe your car has one...it should be a little rectangular plug in on the side of your distributor.  If that goes bad then it'll kill the ignition in your car.  Hope this helps.
