Honda Repair: Honda clunking when shifting, honda civic, motor mounts

Question
I have a 1994 Honda Civic (automatic) with 90,000 miles. There is a noticeable clunking noise when I shift and also a faint "wheezing/pulsing" noise when the car is running.  I can hear the clunking with the windows up or down, and the car also lurches a little bit when I shift. Also, when I am pulling onto and off the freeway there is a strong virbration and my car feels like it is rocking side to side as well. I've just had the motor mounts, axles, tires, transmission fluid, rotors and rack and pinion replaced.  I want to know if this sounds like a serious problem because I commute 180 miles a day and don't want to crash! Thanks.

Answer
manual or auto trans?  The wheezing noise is possibly the belts?  Spray lube on the belts and see if it changes the noise.  The vibration sounds like a bad axle, especially if you only feel it under accel.  Most likely a bad inner joint.  Have the person that installed the axle check it again.
