Honda Repair: C.V. joint, older cars, remans

Question
I have a 93' Honda Accord DX,5 speed and recently, I am experiencing a kocking noise when making turns. I suspect the c.v. joints are bad. Can you tell me how much they normally cost to have these problems fixed. Do you have a suggestion for a reliable shop at Indianapolis, IN. Thank you very much for your help.

Answer
Well JT, sounds like C.V. joints to me too. The best way to repair them on your car is to purchase Remanufactured axles from Honda. They are available for alot of the older cars up to '97. They are a little more than aftermarket remans, but they are much better quality, and come with a warranty. I'm in California, so I can't tell you much about the shops or prices in your area.

Good luck.
