Hyundai Repair: 2000 hyundai sonata 4 cyl, vehicle speed sensor, sonata 4

just put a trans in myself check engine light is on code reader says speed sensor malfunction i dont know where the speed sensor is or what it looks like any help would be greatly appreciated

Both the input and output speed sensors are mounted to the top of the transmission case.  The vehicle speed sensor is mounted to the top of the differential.  Unfortunately, without the code number, I cannot tell which speed sensor you are having a problem with.  If you need additional guidance, please do follow up with the code number.
