Hyundai Repair: 2003 santa fe, denso plugs, intake plenum

Question
i want to change my spark plugs in my 2003 santa fe, it has the 3.5 V 6. Help?

Answer
You'll need to remove the intake plenum.  Once you've got the connectors undone, you'll need to unbolt it.  There'll be four 12mm bolts holding the plenum to brackets on the back of the intake, and two more 12mm bolts attaching the EGR valve.  Once you have these out, you should be able to unbolt the front portion and lift it up and out of the way.  Use caution to not drop and lose the EGR gasket if you're not replacing it.  Because of the difficulty and time involved in doing this job, I recommend replacing the plugs with quality (such as NGK or Denso) plugs and replacing the wires with factory wires while replacing the plugs.
