Land Rover Repair: land rover miss fire and oil coolant leak, coolant leak, wheel balance

Question
Hi

I have a disco 2 2002. i have an gear box oil coolant leak from the bottom (drivers side) hose/connection. do i have to strip out the radiator to get at it or is there a simpler way? The next question and this one is more important.

when i am at 60kph there is a stuttering of the engine recently it is now doing it at 100kph, (its not wheel balance def engine), it has been in the shop 3 times and they do not know what it is. 6 months ago (and it did it then) i had a blown number 2 cylinder and had a new lump put in but the problem is still there. any help. the best i can do at the moment is HT leads and coil??

Answer
The leak may be in the radiator or the line.  You have to look and see.  If it's in the line, you probably do not have to remove the radiator for repair.

The skip . . . does the vehicle have misfire codes logged in the computer?  If the coils, wires or plugs are bad it will usually store codes. Those are the most common cause of miss at speed
