Hi Jessica,

could be as simple as the selector position switch on tranny or its harness connector is starting to fail.  The harness has been known to allow water inside and eventually it can cause some corrosion.  It may also be just an adjustment to your shifter selector cable

Try to find an independent (indy) LR shop that has transmission experience.  Euro autoshops should have experience with your ZF transmission if you cannot find an independent LR shop.  You could also consider going to a LR dealership but be prepared for much higher repair bills.
