Land Rover Repair: Rear Sunroof will not open, repair options, sunroof

My 98 Disco's rear sunroof will not open from the front or back control.  It does not make any noise or movement.

You can take down the cover of the roof, and see if there's power to the motor.  That will tell you if there's a wiring problem or something else.  If there is power back there, you can take the motor loose and see if it turns.  That will tell you if the sliding roof is bound, or the motor has failed.  From there you can consider repair options.
