Land Rover Repair: RR L322 2003 Air Suspension, air suspension, coil spring

Question
I have a L322 2003 with an 'inactive air suspension' fault for 2 weeks. Today it has come up with 'Selflevel suspension inactive' Max 30mph. The front end has dropped but back end seems to be normal height. Any ideas?

Answer
You could have a leaky bag, or you might have a problem with one of the electronic components.   There are many moving parts in that system, so there is no one place to look for faults .  You need to find a shop with the T4, IDS, or Autologic system to talk to the suspension computer and see what codes are stored.

There are coil spring conversions available if you do not want to start fixing the air suspension
