Land Rover Repair: Sunroof, discovery series ii, land rover specialist

I have recently purchased at 2000 Discovery Series II.  I has duel sunroofs but neither of them work. The deal claims that when they bought it they worked but on the drive back to the dealership they stopped working.  Not sure if that is true or not. I was just wondering if you had any ideas as to what might be wrong with them and if it would a simple fix or a pricy one?

If they both stopped working at the same time I'd start by checking the power to the switches.  I think you'd spend under $150 at a Land Rover specialist to find out what's wrong.  A power problem could be inexpensive.  Two bad roof assemblies could be $1500.
