Land Rover Repair: Stuck in Park Position, land rover discovery, fuse box

Question
I have a 2000 land rover discovery and when i went to start it last night it will not disengage from the park position.  The engine is running all seems fine but it will not disengage from the park position.  I check the brake lights and when you step on the brakes the lights do not come on.  What can I do to disengage the vehicle from the Park Position.

Thanks for the help

Answer
Dismount the underdash panel, or the under-steering wheel door. At the brake pedal's top you will see a switch. I think It's not in that correct position, or stucked.

Take it out, but the leave connector in the switch. Now at ignition on, try to push the switch, so you will check the switch.

Before you re-install it pull the plunger outer a little. (It will rattle)

Check passenger compartment fuse box, fuse 25.
