Land Rover Repair: Range Rover Classic AC compressor not cycling..., ac compressor, power seat

Question
When I ran my RRC's battery dead, I made the mistake of recharging the battery while it was still connected to the car's wiring. I won't make that mistake again! One of the diodes in the power seat circuit blew out, and the Memory Seat ECU bit the dust shortly thereafter.

More recently, the AC and heater blowers stopped working. I found that the wire that supplies power to the switch was "fried" right at the connector. I ditched the switch, and ordered a new one. In the meantime (while waiting for the new switch to arrive), I've tried jumpering the connections normally made by the switch, and the blowers do indeed turn on, but the AC compressor doesn't cycle anymore. Is there any particular component I should be checking for failure?

Answer
There is no computer for RRC AC.  The cycling is just controlled by the pressure switches.  Test them with your wiring diagram and a pressur egauge and figure out what's wrong.

There are some compinations of refrigerant level and temperature where the system really won't cycle
