Land Rover Repair: 97 Dico brakes, land rover dealer, goodyear dealer

Question
About 6 months ago I was told by a Goodyear dealer that I needed completely new brakes.  I had the service done ($1500).  Local Land Rover dealer just called after surveying the car for the suggested mileage check up (75,0000...my car has 82,000) and mentioned that the front brake pins were "coming out". They are currently fixing the driveshaft ($900) and mentioned that the pins should not be coming out after such a short period of time since service. Thoughts?  Thank you-

Answer
I dont know exactly what is the question, but its true, the brake pad fixing pins can move out if they aren't mounted well. Only in that case if the mechanic wasn't fixed perfectly. So the pins are ensured at their position with two little hold-down cotter (split pins).
The only way to move out the pin is the repairman's fault!
