Land Rover Repair: wet carpet under foor mat, wet carpet, leak water

Is it normal for the 2003 Landrover Discovery to leak water?  Is it also normal for the floor to be wet under the mats on the passenger side of the car.  What causes that?

Answer
It is not normal for these cars to leak water.  Water under the floor mat may come from pollen-clogged air conditoner drains under the vehicle.  The drains are on either side of the gearbox, under the truck.  Use a piece of wire to make sure they are clear.
