Land Rover Repair: Electrical, steve cochran, fuse box

Radio started not working,  just cut out and the red light started blinking… no codes…. Pressed any button and beeping sound started… last 1 minute. Then radio worked after next trip. Now radio does not seem to have power (Dead). The Cig lighter ..no power… and power seat on passenger side not working. Driver’s side power seat works with driver’s door open. (Man)  Any ideas……..help.



I need to check the “Switch” at the door because the seat will work with the door open and when I push the door switch in the the 1 seat works but not the passenger side. I disconnected the positive lead at the battery and cleaned and thought the radio might ask for code but it seems dead.

Check the fuse links by the battery and the fuse box power.  If that's all good you will just have to sit down with the electrical troubleshooting manual and puzzle out each problem.

Fuse box faulires are somewhat common and they can cause this kind of problem, but it could just as well be 2-3 unrelated issues.
