Land Rover Repair: brake lights stay on, blinkers, tail lights

I have a 97 disco. I recently changed the tail lights and now they won't shut off. If the key is in the on position the tail lights are on. blinkers and reverse lights still work. There is no change in lighting when I press the brakes. Any info would be helpfull. Thanks

Hi Brian,

check the bulbs and make sure they are the correct ones to use.  Check the bulbholder for any corrosion (common with our older Disco's).  Could be bad bulbs.  Could be brake pedal switch too, but this does not happen often.
