Land Rover Repair: D2 - Wet floor & radio update, floor radio, pin outs

Question
1 - It's been unusually rainy and humid recently, and the front passenger carpet of my 2000 Disco2 is soaked.  Do I have a leak, or is there a block condensate drain for the A/C somewhere?  Where should I look?

2 - I'd love all the features of a newer Disco, but I value my trade-in more than the dealer.  Is it possible to swap in a nav system from an '02-'04?  The pin-outs appear to be the same, are there other concerns?

3 - Thank you for volunteering your time to respond in this forum!  Especially with the demise of disco2.com, this is amazingly helpful and very much appreciated.

You should check the AC condensate drains, on either side of the gearbox, under the vehicle

I just looked at the wiring book on the www.landrovertechinfo.com site.  I suggest you go there and print the diagrams yourself.  It looks like the swap is possible but a few extra parts are needed.  Check it out yourself.  I think it could be done.
