Land Rover Repair: LAND ROVER DISCO BREAKES BLOKKING, left hand drive, electrical issues

Question
Dear John,

disco 2.5 tdi from 2003. left hand drive
On unexpected occassions my Disco pulls very strongly to the left while breaking. Breaking hard or light doesn't make the difference. It feels like the front left wheel bloks, pulls the car to the left and it needs very strong reflex to keep it in line.
The car has been checked by 2 different dealers but no succes. As i said it is on Occasions.
Any suggestions.

Answer
If the dealer checked it with the T4 and found no electrical issues the next step would be to replace the ABS modulator.

That's what we do here for occasional dives and it usually works.  For occasional problems you can't usually do a confirming test, so you eliminate electronic faults with the T4 check and your next stop is the modulator.

It's costly, $1500 in the USA.
