Land Rover Repair: Gearbox Filter, range rover p38, zf gearbox

Hi i have a 1998 2.5 dse auto range rover p38 can you tell me if there is a oil filter that can be changed or cleaned in the gearbox because at very low speed ie when you pull away i get a small jumping but it goes away over 1000 rpm

Here in the USA we don't have the diesel P38.  The ZF transmission used in our cars has a replaceable filter.  If your truck has the ZF gearbox then I'd agree changing the filter is a good 1st step.
