Land Rover Discovery 2 TD5 1999 Automatic ES
The M and S lights started flashing on the way out of my drive. A quick trip a round the block and the car seems to drive fine. Switched engine off and back on lights still flashing.
Can I drive the vehicle to my local Land Rover Garage (15 milies)? What the cause? Whats it likly to cost to have fixed?

Ps was going on holiday on Saterday and driving about 2000 milies.

Hi Andrew,

with the M and S status lights flashing, this is a clear indication of an electrical fault within your automatic transmission.  You should be able to drive to your local LR dealer for service.  As for the exact cause, this I cannot tell from here.  I hope it is just a minor electrical problem.
