Land Rover Repair: TD5 in adefender 90 cutting out., reputable dealer, hi bob

My 1999 Defender having in the last two days been fitted with a new injector on no 1 cyl is now cutting out.The engine check light illuminates and we grind to a halt.Sometime the engine remains running other times not.Turn the ignition off light goes out and away we go again.Injector was fitted by a reputable dealer.

Hi Bob,

clearly the dealer has not isolated the problem properly.  Could it be that dealer diagnosed faulty injector when problem lies elsewhere?  For the engine to cut out, it has to be a sensor or the EMS itself.

Limp back into the dealer and demand a more professional job AND a road test before saying it's "finally repaired".
