Land Rover Repair: Air Ride Suspension Failure On 99 RoverS, land rover dealer, air ride suspension

Question
I was driving my 99 Range Rover on the interstate , when I noticed the rear end of the vehicle had dropped. A few days later the front end of the vehicle dropped. How do you replace the front and rear airbags? Can this be done without paying about 2000.00 for a Land Rover dealer to repair? Could it be a faulty fuse which has caused the airbags to fail? What should I discern from the rear end dropping, and then the front? Could it be a leak?

Answer
If you go to www.rangerovers.net you can read about replacing air springs yourself. There is no getting around the need for a shop with an Autologic, T4, or similar system to clear faults and calibrate the system.

The dealer T4 system is the best tool for calibration.  Some independent shops have one.

Fuses do not cause the suspension to drop, air leaks or valve troubles do.

As to why the front would drop, then the rear - if the system is not able to lift the front it will drop the rear to match.
