Land Rover Repair: Increasing fuel economy and hp, floblade vortex generator, maf sensor

I have a 1997 Disco SE. I recently came across an ad for a FloBlade Vortex Generator. The product is a part you put inside your air intake that supposedly swirls the air for greater combustion - improving fuel economy and increasing horsepower. I'm sure there are other similar products on the market.

Do these products work and is there a brand/model that you prefer?

Hi Kit....

I'd stay away from those products and learn to live with what you've got.  We both have a MAF sensor that is very, very expensive to service and repair.  IF you add-on something that affects this sensor, you should be prepared for the worse.  

I don't use this and would advise you to carefully consider this.  We both know how sensitive the LR EMS is.  It's tuned as best as BOSCH can make it.  'nuff said.
