Land Rover Repair: Freelander Center propshaft bearing replacment, oftenly, vcu

hi there Attila, i have just purchased two bearings fro the vcu as the others collapsed, can you advise where i might get refitting info, looking atthe spares i think i may need to get the new bearings pressed onto the vcu with a specailised tool. all advice welcome.

The only special tool is the burner cutter.
Be couse the fork of the joint oftenly sticked. And you have to use a big hammer (and torch) to disassemble that from the rod.
So, if you are lucky you can change it in a very easy way (just take out the screws, and knock off the bearings)
But if you are unlucky you have to drastically cut the bearings off from the rod, and then you can warm up the fork (to about 3-500 celsius), and then it comes easier.

The canging procedure might lasts from 20 minutes to 2 hours!

p.s: dont forget to sign the part's positions in proportion to each other. (reassemble precisely the tenons)
