could you please tell me where the brake pedal switch is located on an mgb gt 1971 vehicle thanks

Hi Keith
On all UK MGBs and GTs made before 1975 the switch is a hydraulic unit screwed into a multi-way brass union under the bonnet.  It is operated by brake pressure.  Look between the fuse box and the heater unit.  The switch has 2 wires connected to it.  One wire is plain green, the other wire is green with a purple stripe.
